“Make your life a masterpiece; imagine no limitations on what you can be, have, or do.” ~ Brian Tracy
Meet Aunt Virginia. Her oldest, Ann, brought her to the Cowboy Chili and Soup shindig last Saturday. I didn’t know she was coming. I’d been thinking about her over the holiday at Lois’, partly because it was her first without Uncle Greg, but mostly because I just couldn’t shake the feeling that we were incomplete without she and Greg. Only when I saw her did I feel like our Thanksgiving was complete. It was joyous. We were all thrilled to have her with us. Transitions are difficult to navigate, and big transitions after losing a loved one are especially challenging. I was grateful to Virginia for making the trip (and Ann and her husband Danny for bringing her). It meant a lot to me, and I know it did to dad, too.
