Mom and I had our weekend outing, though I was a disappointment with a belly ache that sent me home early. [no gallbladder + popcorn = bad idea]. Still, we enjoyed our Cracker Barrel meal as Mom showed off the garnet birthstone ring her mother gave as a gift. She had gained enough weight for it to fit again, and she wore it proudly. She got many compliments while we were out, which made her feel good, too. Despite the belly ache, it was a good, productive weekend of yard work and research, and, of course, lunch with Mom is always a blessing.
