Today would have been Hero’s 85th birthday. Since he couldn’t celebrate with us on this plane, we celebrated for him with his favorite meal: steak. It was good to be with Mom and Aunts Lois and Barb. I think it reminded us all that we’re still here and there’s still much to be grateful for, including each other. I, for one, am eternally grateful for my family and very blessed for those in my life regularly. We never want for things to talk about or eat. We always eat. <insert laughter here>
