I’ve been hearing about Brent Leggs since I started studying historic preservation. Tonight, not only did I get to hear him speak, but I also had a chance to meet him. He’s utterly delightful and handsome as all get out. Brent is the executive director of the African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund and senior vice president of the National Trust. He’s from Paducah, and went through the HP program at UK. He has set a high bar for the rest of us, but what a great role model he is. Meeting and photographing him and seeing so many friends at the event made my day.
