What do you do on Friday the 13th in October? Well, me and Chuck Cox got cleaned up and went to a gala. The Nunn Center’s 50th Anniversary Gala, to be exact. Not quite a Halloween party, but we had a pretty good time, and I actually put on a full face of makeup for the first time in recent memory. So, in that way, it kind of was like dressing up for Halloween. Nevertheless, I hugged the necks of people I love and respect and have worked with for many years, and it was very nice to be in their company outside the office. Everyone looked lovely, too. Did I mention we were treated to an incredible five-course meal by Ouita Michel? There’s much more to tell about this evening, but I’m whipped for now. Suffice it to say, Chuck Cox is the best and I’m tickled to see him any time.
