Tonight was my 40th high school reunion. Alas, I was awakened at 2 a.m. with a migraine that didn’t go away, though now it’s more of a dull ache and migraine hangover. I missed my beloved childhood friends, which makes me sad because I love them. So, in their absence, here’s a picture from last night, just hanging out with University of Kentucky President Eli Capiluto. He was a good sport for the Kopana selfie. Why, yes, that is Vice Mayor Dan Wu behind us. He presented a proclamation on behalf of him and Mayor Linda Gordon that yesterday, October 13th, 2023, be recognized as the Nunn Center for Oral History Day. All in all, not a bad way to end the week despite feeling crappy today.
