“Do the best you can until you know better. Then, when you know better, do better.”

On Saturday, Tampa Streetcars were offering $0.25 rides. The streetcars don’t go very far really; downtown to Ybor City and back, maybe a mile or two at the most. They’re really nice, though, and it’s a wonderful way to travel.
Like Lexington with our Horse Mania statues celebrating Horse Capitol of the World status, Cincinnati’s Big Pig Gig nod to the city’s Porkopolis fame, and Chicago (and others) with the Cow Parade, Tampa went with the streetcar for their artLOUD model. They’re really cute, too. I loved the streetcars, the real ones and the artistic miniatures. They’re such a wonderful touch to a city and inexpensive way to get around. They’d be great to have back in Lexington (yes, Lexington streetcars).
