“Remember, we can never change another person. We can only change our response to their behaviour.” ~ Unknown
Shero hasn’t been too good lately, so today we visited her doctor, where we got to see our beloved Roberta Taylor. Let me tell you something: sometimes you meet a person who is a walking light in this world, and Roberta is one of those lights. She is one of the finest people I have ever met, and I know Shero would tell you the same thing. She is soft-spoken, kind, gentle, and interested in you and your life in the most genuine way. She and Shero talk a lot about church while we talk about retirement since we’re very close in age. Today, I discovered she loves photography and plans to do a lot of it when she retires, starting on her trip-of-a-lifetime to Italy. Now we have even more to talk about. I hated to see Shero so sick, but at least seeing Roberta made her feel a little better, and me, too.
