Today, I visited with my old friend Belinda Marshall Jordan and learned much about our home town, what it went through, and how it recovered after the 2012 tornado. I also learned a lot about Belinda, which reinforced my love and admiration for her. There are people who know what they’re meant to do, and they do it, and there’s a lot to be said for that kind of peace. Belinda is one of those people, and I am beyond fortunate to know her and to have known her for the entirety of my life.
