I took Mom to a third doctor’s appointment this week. Afterwards, we drove to Kroger for a few things, and I was shocked when she insisted on getting one of the electric carts and shopping for herself. First, I didn’t think she was healed enough, but she was markedly better today and much more her spunky self. Second, I never expected her to be okay with driving one of the electric shopping carts, but buddy, she got on that thing and took off like a bat out of Hades. She only ran over a few people. This was a very good day indeed.
