This morning, the SEEK team (Vanessa Holden, Jen Bartlett, Reinette Jones, and me) presented to the National Digital Newspaper Program at the Library of Congress. They were all back home in Kentucky, and you can kinda see them on the TV screens around the room. Being in DC, I took a photo of the room before we started, telling them they’d be today’s post. There are so many wonderful, longtime friends in this photograph. I wish it was clearer (iPhones have their limits). I was really proud to show off the SEEK team and project to them, and there were several in the crowd with great interest in what we’re doing. We get one more day together, and then it’s back to our home states to keep doing the important work we do in making our nation’s history available to everyone. I love this group more than words can say.
