Remember from Gurney’s book release party I said I ran into some of my favorite writers and hillbillies, and some were both? Here’s one of those. That’s a gal-dern good picture of Robert Gipe, too, even if I did snap it. Some folks are hip, and then there’s Gipe. Few are as hip as the Gipester. We’ve stolen a few horses together. He’s a keeper.
