My good friend Sharon Shearman, whom you met way back in 2017, made her way back to the Bluegrass today from her native New Zealand. We’ve spent the afternoon having wonderful conversations and Waffle House. Sharon loves Waffle House. Fueled with grease, we carried on talking until sunset. It’s good to talk to my friend. I wish I had more time with her, but I am eternally grateful for any time I get.
