Memorial Coliseum pays tribute to those lost in the world wars. It was erected just after the end of WWII, and its corridors are filled with bronze stars carrying the names of alumni killed in battle and plaques of alumni who served. There’s a historical marker out front that recognizes the Adamstown neighborhood that was sacrificed for the coliseum’s building. I’m hoping the new and improved coliseum will honor all appropriately.
