oops

Last Friday, I stopped by to see Vince Grino and pick up a stand at The Drum Center. You may remember Vince from September when he refurbished my Ludwigs. I got in the car and took the photo on the left. I’m not sure why, but I think it was the stack of Cajons. I thought they’d look cool in the shape of a Christmas tree with lights. Three days later, this past Monday, someone drove their car through the front of the store. It didn’t just shatter the pane glass windows, but actually broke the block window foundations in half. I drove by today and snapped the photo on the right. The store reopened Tuesday morning and I’m thinking it might be time to buy that new pedal I’ve wanted for the last 10 years. It would probably help The Drum Center’s Christmas, and I might find a scratch and dent sale. Buy local, ya’ll. These mom and pop stores really need us.
