Take it as a lesson learned and move on.”  ~ Unknown

Dad’s retirement party was just part of the Bank’s annual Christmas dinner. They like to play games. One such game included four teams blowing up balloons, then stuffing them into panty hose that one poor team member then had to wear. Here we see our four unfortunate, um, I mean winning teammates donning their reindeer antlers. Left to right is Shirley (mom), Jodi Stacy, Travis Stacy, and Tebby Lykins. Four of the funniest, most kind hearted people I know.

This was so much fun! For the both of us, it was the most fun we’ve had in ??????? years. Love the facial expression on Travis!!!!! Love you, Jodi and Travis. It’s always fun and a great pleasure to be amongst ALL of you. Shorty will always (and I mean – always) miss all of you and wonder and worry about each one. I have never seen him get close to anything or anyone as he has this bank and its workers. If you didn’t get the comment he made to CK about the hub-cap in the bank parking lot, ask him to tell you.
I have known CK all his life, Uncle Joe (as Shorty calls him) all my life (he used to let my daddy keep Kopana’s pony, Pokey, (no charge) at his place when they lived up 172), Martha, I loved her dearly cause she never changed and was always such a sweet person and so prim and proper with always a smile and hello. And Vicki, I loved Vicki the first time I met her; the four of us went to dinner at Lexington back in the early early 70s (I forgot the name of the restaurant – a famous basketball player owned it and gosh – can’t even remember the name of the bluegrass band playing that CK liked so much). Vicki and I worked together for a number of years in the welfare office then called Public Assistance; she was social worker and I was secretary. We laughed and had such a good time (one needs laughter and fun on the job and in the workplace), that’s my opinion.
Ending now by saying we both love you all and pray for God’s “goodness and mercy all the days of your lives……”. May Santa Claus be good to each of you and praying God’s blessings to you and your family.
