At the hight of the blizzard of 2016 Wally and Lilly joined forces to brave the wind and rising snow. No matter how many times I shoveled a path for my boy, it filled in a moment’s time. He was constantly disappointed today. Meanwhile, it was a welcomed sight when Lilly wanted to go out. That’s my old girl’s spirit. And when I opened the door, they both bounded out to pure disappointment. I couldn’t help but giggle. As I write, the snow continues to fall and the winds continue to howl. I’m so grateful the power is still on, even if Lilly and Wally are not grateful for winter’s imposition.
