I’ve had to sit through many a train crossing Rosemont Garden. I can’t remember the last time I saw a caboose. It’s just a lonely final car headed into the sunset. Dad and I were recently talking about rail travel. He preferred it over other transportation forms, having ridden many European trains. I also enjoyed the trains in Europe. I wish we had an extensive rail system in the US. If any country needs it, it’s the US where SUVs are the size of apartments, and the country stretches thousands of miles from coast to coast. For now, I’ll have to settle for the cabooseless trains at Rosemont Garden.
