“There are four things you can control every day of your life: attitude, work ethic, how you treat others, and how you treat yourself.” ~ Pat Summit
So we had little snow squalls yesterday after Sunday night’s cold front moved through, but I wasn’t prepared for the accumulation I woke up to this morning. My poor little forsythia bush in bloom wasn’t ready for it either. Worse still, Lexington was in no way prepared. The roads were solid ice, and no one could drive more than 20 mph on the main roads. Once I got to campus, the roads were much better, but a normal ten-minute drive to campus took twenty-five minutes today. Thankfully, it’s Spring Break this week, or it would have been a pure mess out there. I’m thankful for the little things like that. I also got a good parking place for a change. Bonus!
