“Beyond simply surviving adversity, we must dare to create lives of sustained optimal well-being and joy.” ~ bell hooks
You might remember back on Groundhog Day at Hospice, we did a veterans pinning ceremony for Shero. The man who put it together and performed the ceremony was Clark Kidwell, pictured here with BFF Jeff. Jeff was at the ceremony and was so moved by it and by Clark’s dedication that he managed to find him afterward to record an oral history. Guess what happened today? Jeff and Clark came into the Nunn Center to do that oral history and dropped by to say hi on their way. I love Jeff so much. He’s been such a wonderful friend and mentor. I don’t know how I got so fortunate.
