The floor at the Wood Utilization Center at Robinson Station in Quicksand, Breathitt County, is phenomenal. Robinson Station sits along the Kentucky River, and like the Robinson Forest, it took a hard hit in last year’s floods. The Wood Center was the only building spared flooding, but it came to the doors. I don’t know what type of wood this is, but the entire building makes use of it. It’s stunning to look at in person. The photos don’t do it justice.
