“Never underestimate the healing power of listening to your favorite music on full blast while dancing around the house like an idiot.” ~ Unknown

boys r back n town

Golden Alert played the Henry Clay Public House this evening. Our second gig. We had a blast. In typical GA style, we missed just about every ending, but apart from that, it was awesome. I ran into a few people I hadn’t seen in over 30 years, Doug Breeding among them (standing beside Jeff), and I have to say it felt really good to be in their company again. I met new people I liked immediately, and I had two friends show up that I wasn’t expecting to see at all. They made my night. I needed an evening like this with my boys. I love them so much. I just wish we could do it more often, but I’ll be forever grateful to them for a lot of things not the least of which is letting me be in the band. They help me get my groove back.
