crucifixThis morning we toured the King William neighborhood in San Antonio, and that was okay, but this afternoon we toured the Spanish Franciscan Missions. If you’ve followed the outhouse for any period of time you know how I adore sacred spaces. Today was spectacular. The worst part was we couldn’t stay very long at any of the missions, and that really bit into the photo ops. Still, the Missions along the El Camino Real de los Tejas proved a winner. Did I mention we went in the heat of the day when the temps reached 98? Yea, I think I’ve effectively melted off several pounds in just a few hours.
