I saw my buddy Chris Mears today. You met him back in 2019, before COVID, when we were rehearsing with the Hursts for the Bob Dylan Music for Mission tribute show at First Presbyterian Church as The Radical Departures. We did another tribute or two after that, then life took over, and The Radical Departures faded away. Fast forward to now, Chris and I are working on some shots for his upcoming website. He’s been kicking some major ass out in LA, writing scores for movies and television. He’s got a soundtrack coming out at Christmas for a Michelle Williams film called something something in hell. I’m no good at titles. Anyway, today was a warm-up for the website, but more importantly, it was an hour to catch up with an old friend and talk about making something wonderful.
