“If you see something beautiful in someone, speak it.” ~ Ruthie Lindsey
Now that the thesis is done and dusted, I’m getting back on the photo horse with the Blue Grass Trust, but my new camera is not behaving as I need it to. Thankfully, Josh James was at tonight’s deTour at Pope Villa to help keep me calm. I offered to sell it to him. He laughed. I wasn’t kidding. Still, it was so great to see him. He ran into the mayor, and they said simultaneously, “Oh, hey, it’s you again!” or some such thing. I took their picture… on the camera that didn’t have an SD card but behaved as if it did. <sigh> Then, it completely stopped working. It wouldn’t snap, you couldn’t see through the viewfinder…nothing. Turn off, back on – nope. Lord help me, in the middle of an event is not when I need camera drama. Fortunately, I had a backup and Josh to keep me level-headed. He is just the best and I sure was glad to hug his neck.
