“This year, I lost, won, failed, cried, laughed, loved, but I didn’t fold.” ~ Trent Shelton

line? what line?

I’m at the gas station filling up, and I’m bored. So, I whip out the phone and start taking pictures. After all, it was a nice sunset, and the reflection in the car was sort of interesting because there were no overhead lights on yet. When I looked at the photo and saw a perfectly straight red line, I automatically thought there was something wrong with the phone’s camera. I looked and looked some more, and then I looked at the ground and saw a perfectly straight red line that I had not noticed before. In fact, I doubt I would have ever seen it if it weren’t for the canopy’s lights not being turned on. It’s caused by the pump’s scanner – for rewards cards and whatnot. It’s impressive how far away from the pump it points, which explains why I can never get my card to scan. Alt ID is the way to go, and now I know why. I’ll file this under “Things I Learned at the Gas Station While I was Bored.”
