Think back to December of 2016 when the inaugural issue of Solidago was released. I sometimes think about that short-lived adventure and how exciting it was to be part of it. Catherine and Susan worked hard to bring it to life and to choose excellent writings and designs. My part was quite small by comparison, but I enjoyed the process. I was walking to the car this evening and saw a small patch of Solidago/goldenrod growing near the parking lot. It was especially beautiful this evening and gave me a warm feeling of comfort and joy.
