Imagine my surprise when Shero said she wanted to go to Cracker Barrel. She hasn’t been able to eat a whole sandwich in over a month, but by golly, if she wanted Cracker Barrel, she was getting it. She got it and ate every bite. The weirdest thing, though, despite being clearly disabled, the maître d’ always wants to put us as far from the door as possible. e.v.e.r.y.t.i.m.e. I don’t know what that’s about. But I digress. After enjoying a fabulous meal, we went to Kohl’s for a pillow, Kroger for vittles, Lowe’s for cleaner, another Kroger for pills, and finally, an ice cream cone from Dairy Queen. She wore me out! The weather was stunning today, and our gratefulness for an afternoon out together knew no bounds.
