When people hurt you over and over, think of them as sandpaper. They scratch and hurt you. But later, you’ll be shining and polished, while they end up useless.” ~ Chris Colfer

riding on The Metro (autostitch)

I didn’t ride The Metro until it was time for dinner. For the rest of the day, I put on my walking shoes and got to walking. I’ve got a lot of lovely shots, but I’m too dang tired to process any of them. One advantage to riding The Metro is that one has time to process photos taken with their iPhone. Thus….scenes from our nation’s capital. But I will say that I love my friends and colleagues – people could not have been kinder to me today: lunch with Curtis Tate, NEH and LC colleagues, then dinner with my University of North Texas colleagues. I’ve had a most excellent day, indeed! Now, sleep.
