“Be careful not to judge a transition while you’re in he middle of it. A bridge is always more wobbly than either shore.” ~ Cory Muscara

here’s lookin’ at you

My buddy Yvonne Giles called me up today and asked me to do some photos for a special event downtown this evening. More on that later, but I went downtown, and as I was walking to my assignment, I passed Skuller’s clock on Main Street. Skuller was a jeweler, and the clock has been in its current location since at least 1913, when Skuller moved from Limestone to Main Street. The eyes are a particularly nice touch. Another nice touch is the outdoor seating at the local eateries. It makes downtown more inviting and gives visitors a chance to get all googly-eyed at Skuller’s clock.
